where 108 nos. of destitute children are being maintained of age group (0618yrs). Out of which our organization received Govt. grant-in-aid for 100 nos of children.
The samiti has already added another feather in its cap by opening a "Specialised Adoption Agency" where more than 04 nos. of abandoned / surrendered infants of age group (0-5 yrs) are being taken care of in-order-to promote in-country adoption. 117 nos infants have adopted in foster care. At the end of the year 2005 a Home for women in difficult circumstances named”SWADHAR SHELTER HOME” has been started with a sanction of 30 inmates by grant-in-aid of Govt.of India.
The organisation has made adequate provisions to impact vocational education/training different trades like Tailoring, Screen printing, DTP, making detergent powder , Candle, Phenyle, Incense sticks, Pampad making, Computer training etc. out of own funds. Apart from this, the samiti always seized with suffering lots of the society, at the time of natural calamities like cyclone (1967,1971,1999, 2019) ,flood (1980,1982,2001,2003,2009,2013) and in the Filene, The organisation takes a leading role in taking up massive relief operations.
This Samiti is situated at the central part of the district and only 15 kms. away from district head quarter & has gathered wide experience in implementing various schemes and programmes.
